The “Verein zur Förderung sonographischer Wissensgewinnung” (ZVR 136703095) was founded for the promotion and postpromotional education in the field of diagnostic sonography (according to § 35 exp. 2 BAO) and serves as a platform for workshops and training courses each at the highest didactic level: Courses of all topics of diagnostic sonography are held (see events). Special courses to musculoskeletal and to vascular sonography are likewise offered as those of sonography of the peripheral nervous system and of sonographically guided interventions, contrast enhanced ultrasound and pain therapies. These courses and trainings are based on long-time experiences of the team in these fields basing on special clinical questions and on a large set of specific scientific publications. All above mentioned courses are based on the measures of the Austrian and European sonographic societies ÖGUM/ESSR.
